1. Grind off the old paint on the original surface first
Before renovating the floor, it is necessary to clean the floor of the construction space before polishing. Use the floor refurbishing machine to grind the old floor back and forth repeatedly until the paint layer on the floor surface is removed by 1-2mm. Then use sandpaper with different mesh sizes to polish the floor surface in turn, generally three times. The larger the mesh, the less trace left on the polished floor to ensure the smoothness of the floor.

2. Repair the polished floor with putty:
After polishing construction, it is necessary to apply putty and level the ground. Apply the putty matching the floor paint evenly on the polished floor, and then remove the putty between the edges and corners of the floor after natural drying. Use the sawdust mixed putty to seal the edges and corners of the floor again.
3. Apply primer to adjust the color difference of the floor
After the putty is completely dry, you need to brush the primer on the floor. If it is a solid wood floor, the texture is clear and natural, and you can’t change the color, you can only adjust the depth of the color
4. Topcoat treatment:
When the floor primer is dry, the topcoat can be applied. It is suggested to use more environmentally friendly water-based paint, which has no taste and can effectively shorten the decoration time. If there are cracks in the floor, you need to apply adhesive first to reduce the cracks in the future. If the cracks are too large, you need to use wooden strips to fill in and paint.
