Laminate flooring is called impregnated paper laminated wood flooring. It has a three-layer structure: the surface layer is melamine resin impregnated decorative paper containing wear-resistant materials, the core layer is medium and high density fiberboard or particleboard, and the bottom layer is phenolic resin impregnated balance paper. The three layers are made by hot pressing synthetic resin glue. We should pay attention to the following four aspects when purchasing.
1. Wear resistance
Through the comparison of the model to identify the pros and cons. Under normal circumstances, the greater the gram weight of wear-resistant paper, the lower the definition of wood grain paper. It’s not suitable to choose the very dark or black color when choosing the floor, because the floor of this kind of color is either poor in wear resistance or poor in surface definition.
2. Design and color
The selection of color varieties should be coordinated with the indoor light and other colors. Generally speaking, where the light is not good, it is not suitable to choose the deeper color.
3. Product packaging
Through the comparison of product packaging to identify the pros and cons. The packaging label of better products is relatively standard, including the full name of the factory, the real address, the telephone number, and the product grade and category. In order to prevent being cheated, consumers can check according to the marked telephone number.
4. Quality identification
The quality of the floor is shown in the base material, color wood grain paper, wear-resistant layer and product size accuracy. The smoothness of the mortise and tenon and the fineness and uniformity of the fiber can be used to identify the quality of the base material, and the height difference and joint of the floor can be used to identify the dimensional accuracy of the product. However, the pattern paper and the wear-resistant layer can not be identified by naked eyes. It is suggested that the product packaging should start with the products from the regular manufacturers.
